The time limit is 6 months from the Will grant of probate or if no Will a grant of administration. The probate or administration grants are made on application to the Victorian Supreme Court Probate Registry.

3. What if the 6-month contest Will time limit has expired?
You can still make a claim subject to leave of the Court provided some or all of the estate assets have not been transferred absolutely to the Will estate beneficiaries.
